August 18
Hola,
Well I would just like to start off with saying how much I love you all and how grateful I am to have you all. I wouldn`t want another family ever. I just love ya all tons.
I loved the pictures of back to school. How sad. I can`t believe it is already another school year.
Hey mom speaking of school year. I have done a ton ton ton of thinking and praying about what I am going to do when I get home. Mom I don`t think I am going to extend the mission. I will only do it if the president asks me. Which means there is a slight possibility, but I am not going to personally ask. Which means I will get home either the last week of February or the first week of March. Hopefully I`ll be back for your Birthday Danielle :) But this also means I will be back for the new school year. But I will only have a few weeks to prepare. Mom I would really appreciate it if you could talk to BYU and tell them that I won`t be going back in the spring semester. I need to work to have the money to go to school. I won`t have any when getting back and I will need to work. So I would appreciate it if you could let BYU know that I won`t be returning until Winter 2016. Thanks.
Anyway I have been meaning to write that forever but haven`t had the time. thanks.

The store I have used in basically all of my sectors here in Ecuador. Tìa. haha |
Oh and I was transferred again. Right now I am in Machala again :)Yay!! I was excited to come back to Machala. But now I am in the ward Aurora. Like the street name haha. But it is a really great ward. And not only that I am in a trio with Hermana Carollo and Hermana Teban.Hermana Carollo for only a week in Cuenca. She is from Colorado and Hermana Teban is from El Salvador. I am so excited to be with them. I thought being in a trio would be really difficult and not any fun. But I love it!! It is so chill... :) But this week we have 7 baptisms. I am so lucky to have been a part of their conversion process. There is a family of 4 that are going to be baptized. I am so happy for them. I couldn`t be more excited to be here in Machala!

I love you all tons and appreciate all of your prayers! And for everything.

Well
we had cambios (transfers) again.... UGH. Hermana Carollo got sent to Santa Rosa.
Poor thing. All I know is that she was so sad and did not want to leave
here. But now it is just me and Hermana Teban. Man I love this girl. She
is great. I love her. She is super quiet. She has had a little more time
than I do. I will be right at one year this week.... It is
crazy to think that this time last year I was getting on a plane to head
off to Mexico. Man time is so so so fast!
But this week was CRAZY. Probably on of the most crazy of my life.
well of my mission life. Preparing 7 people for baptism was absolutely
crazy. I felt so overwhelmed but luckily my companion is super chill.
All went well and the baptism was amazing!!! The ward really pitched in.
It was the first baptism in about four months here.
But we were able to
baptize 7 amazing souls. It was the first time I was able to be a part
of a baptism of an entire family. I felt so so blessed. This gospel
really blesses families and I could really feel it as I have been
able to teach them. I love every single one of them with all of my heart. I
couldn`t have been more excited to be here.
I was also able to work with Daniela Soto and her family. Her
family is a little less active but she is just loving the gospel. She
loves it so much and wants to help her family along. I have loved being
able to teach her.
Along with Maria Elena and Blanca. I just can`t believe how
blessed I have been. I just couldn`t be more grateful. This ward is
really amazing. We had over 75 people in the baptism I couldn`t even
believe it. And they also pitched in and bought food for afterwards.
Which is of course rice and chicken hahahahaha. too great.
But it all
is good.
I love this mission so much. I love being here and that I have been able
to be here in Aurora.
Mom I wasn`t robbed here in Machala that was Cuenca hahaha. But yeah life here is good. Oh and guess what I live
with Hermana Mann again hahahahaha. Good times. I was so excited to see
her again.
I just hope I don`t get transferred any time soon.
Anyway I love you all tons and please pray for me and my companion! I wish the best for you all!
